Sunday, December 4th, the Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs play in the first of three scheduled meetings this season. San Antonio will host again on January 28th and Phoenix will host the final meeting on April 4th.
Both teams last played on Friday with the Suns losing 121-122 to the tanking Rockets while the Spurs got thumped 99-117 to the undermanned Pelicans.
Last season, the squads met four times with Phoenix sweeping all four contests. The Spurs hold the all-time record having bested the Suns in 99 of their 183 matches.

Devin Booker did everything but win the game on Friday as his hot shooting streak continued. Booker delivered 41 points, eight assists and four rebounds in the loss but couldn’t get the final shot to fall.
The Suns led by as much as 16 and by 10 entering the final frame but couldn’t hang on. After giving up the lead they did battle back and despite getting four shots in the closing possession they couldn’t capitalize.
Fortunately for them, the Nuggets also lost so they retained the top seed in the West.
