A much-anticipated inter-conference showdown between the Milwaukee Bucks (35-21) and Phoenix Suns (40-16) will kick-start the NBA week on Monday.
Both are coming off decisively lopsided losses. The Suns couldn’t get anything going offensively in a 111-85 loss at home to the San Antonio Spurs, while the Bucks got rolled at the Fiserv Forum in a 128-115 defeat at the hands of the visiting Memphis Grizzlies.

The Bucks couldn’t guard the backcourt well at all, allowing Grayson Allen to score a season high 26 points. If they want to win this matchup they’ll need to play much better defensively or else Booker and Paul will eat them up all game long.
These next three games are vital for Milwaukee as they are all at home and against the top competition in the league. After playing Phoenix the Bucks will welcome the Eastern Conference best 76ers to town for back to back games. If Milwaukee could win all 3 they could leap Philadelphia for the top spot as they are only 4 games back at this point.
Phoenix Suns
We’re about to learn a lot about the Suns over the course of their next seven games. All of the opponents coming up, including the Bucks, are playoff contenders with at least five of the games being on the road. The Suns are still clinging to second place in the Western Conference standings and are now only 1.5 games back.
