Injuries continue to play a major factor in games as the Nuggets are missing key defensive cogs while the Magic are without their top scorer (Franz Wagner) and now will be without their best defender and hype man (Jalen Suggs).
Nikola Jokic leads the league in assists and rebounding and is fifth in scoring. Hard to deny why he’s leading the MVP odds given these stats, but factor in how he’s doing it without two key starters and it gets even more impressive.
It’s a classic battle of defense versus offense, but without Suggs, the former becomes a little trickier, and ultimately, who’ll be defending Jokic is the key.
Although the Magic are a fun and feisty team, I’ll take the Nuggets to keep rolling as they win and cover.
