Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder got Russell Westbrook back from an injury that segued right into the birth of his twin daughters — congratulations to he and his wife, a former UCLA Womens Basketball player. They now have three children eighteen months or younger. Good luck!
Anyway, the Thunder has developed some fantastic chemistry without Westbrook on the floor, not to say its better without its best player, but it lost on Monday night in Sacramento, close game that the Kings won in the fourth quarter after OKC made a mad comeback in the third.
Westbrook scored twenty-nine with thirteen rebounds and seven assists and Paul George had twenty-seven and nine. Steven Adams hauled in fifteen rebounds.
The guy who had OKC in it and who made quite a difference with Westbrook out was the young former Kentucky Wildcat, Hamidou Diallo.
Diallo scored eighteen points from seven-for-seven shooting from the field and a perfect free throw percentage. He got even more playing time on Monday because Alex Abrines was sick and didn’t play in the second half.
A loss in Sacramento isn’t anything to be ashamed about anymore. OKC is rolling and I don’t think that will change with Westbrook back. You have to like what you see out of OKC so far this season.
Golden State Warriors
Golden State has lost three in a row and four out of its last five, dating back to that overtime loss against the Clippers when Draymond Green and Kevin Durant had their run-in.
Steph Curry wasn’t supposed to be out this long but it appears he’s taking an extended mid-season vacation. I don’t know when he’ll be back but the Warriors hope it’s soon because they aren’t the same team without him.
Draymond Green has also been in and out of the lineup over the last week or two, mostly out. He didn’t play again against San Antonio and has missed five of the last six games, including the last two. His toe injury isn’t considered serious but, as he says, it isn’t worth playing through it now.
That’s the advantage Golden State has. It’s what won it the title last season and what will probably win it the title again this season. I’m thinking the losing streak continues on Wednesday.

Free Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Golden State Warriors NBA Prediction: OKC wins.
This is a dangerous Thunder team. Westbrook is a madman and the Thunder will win this, especially if Green misses another game. I’m assuming Curry won’t suit up.
