OKC is looking to cement the top seed and home court advantage throughout the playoffs, so they are still invested in winning. They boast a 63-16 record and lead the Spurs by three games.
LA is cemented as a play-in seed, but which seed is still to be decided. They own a record of 41-38, which has them sitting eighth, a game up on Portland and two games back of the Suns.
OKC is favored by a 6.5 point spread with an over/under of 225.5 points.

OKC Thunder vs. LA Clippers bottom line:
With the stretch run drawing to a close, teams have very little time left to improve upon their positions and fix any glaring errors.
OKC has the sixth toughest remaining strength of schedule with three games left. They’ll play two of those on the road, while all three opponents are currently seeded or in the play-in portion of the bracket. Specifically, they play the Clippers, Nuggets, and Suns.
LA has the 10th toughest remaining strength of schedule with three games left. They’ll play once more on the road and face three opponents who are currently seeded in the playoffs (OKC) or play-in (Blazers, Warriors).
OKC Thunder vs. LA Clippers Basketball Betting Trends

- The total has gone OVER in 5 of Oklahoma City’s last 7 games.
- Oklahoma City is 6-0 SU in its last 6 games.
- Also, the LA Clippers are 2-4 ATS in its last 6 games.

Thunder Clippers Free Pick: Thunder -6.5
Here is my Thunder Clippers free pick.
Much is still to be decided as the teams play their last few games. OKC is invested in finalizing its top seed. LA is trying to move up higher on the board, and while they are cemented as a play-in team, they’d still like to nab the seventh seed to have the best possible position.
Thankfully there are no back-to-back games in the playoffs where the Thunder display a rare weakness (6-7). Fortunately, they’ll have rest between games and in those matches are 56-9 while outscoring their opponents by 14.7 points.
For a team that sucks at dishing dimes and rebounding, it’s almost unfathomable that the Clippers are performing as well as they are.
Credit Kawhi Leonard, who is having a heck of a campaign, and the addition of Darius Garland, which is helping to upgrade the ball-handling.
Still, even if the Thunder elect to rest some players, they will be a tough out, and again, they want to finalize their position atop the league, so this game still matters.
