The Knicks are coming off of back to back losses against the Miami Heat who seem to be turning things around a bit, but up to this point this season has to be seen as a success, as this Knicks team has made plenty of improvements off of last year.
Julius Randle has been an absolute revelation and is playing at a level most thought was out of his reach and RJ Barrett has also been able to chip in with important contributions as he is another one who has taken a step forward in his development.
The Knicks also decided to bring D-Rose in from the Pistons, so the upper management also sees this year as their chance of making the playoffs and I think Rose was a perfect edition to this ball club. He gives them a superstar veteran who can help out with the younger guys and help hold things together in the locker room and I think that could pay dividends if this team does happen to make a run at the postseason.
Washington Wizards
The Wizards are coming off of a bitterly disappointing defeat to the Toronto Raptors, as they were blown out against a Raptors team that very few are impressed with. A lot of what that game came down to was 3 point shooting as the Raptors were able to shoot nearly 60% while the Wizards were only able to hit 29.3% of their shots from deep.
That shooting percentage might not get too much better here, as it is currently being reported that Bradley Beal will be rested for this game, so the vast majority of this team’s offense is wiped out right there, so I would not expect the best version of the Wizards here.
Is the Wizards are going to have any chance in this one it is going to have to be the likes of Rui Hachimura or possibly Davis Bertans getting hot from deep, as I feel the Knicks are better than them in most areas of the court.

The Wizards have not been able to defend anyone this year, but they have been particularly bad on the inside so I would look for Julius Randle to have a big game here on Friday night.
