The Bucks have a roster loaded with young talent, but they’ll be without a pair of their most dynamic young players on Wednesday night. Meanwhile, the Knicks added some veteran players to help get them into the playoffs as they look to head in the right direction under Phil Jackson.
Milwaukee Bucks:
The Bucks are going to be without a pair of young, talented forwards in this one. Jabari Parker and Giannis Antetokounmpo will both watch this one in street clothes from the sideline. Parker, who was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2014 draft was lost for the year with a torn ACL in his left knee after 25 games, averaging 12.3 points and 5.5 rebounds. He’s expected back in early November.

The Bucks were able to play .500 basketball without Parker in earning a postseason berth in Jason Kidd’s first season in Wisconsin. That was thanks in large part to the emergence of Khris Middleton, and midseason acquisition Michael Carter-Williams.
Middleton earned himself a rich, five-year, $70 million deal in the offseason after averaging a career-high 13.4 points in the regular-season, then posting 15.8 points per game in the playoffs. With Antetokounmpo sidelined, Middleton will be asked to fill a larger role.
But the player Bucks fans will be eager to see is big free agent acquisition Greg Monroe, who made the move to Milwaukee via Detroit, after averaging 15.9 points and 10.2 rebounds a year ago. The Knicks were among the teams to unsuccessfully court him.
New York Knicks:
While the Bucks will be without a pair of young forwards, the Knicks will see their latest darling make his debut on Wednesday night. Kristaps Porzingis, the team’s surprise first-round pick in this past draft will hit the floor in an NBA regular season game for the first time.

The Knicks had their sights set on some major free agent prizes, but instead added some more modest pieces in players like Robin Lopez, Arron Afflalo, Derrick Williams, and Kyle O’Quinn, and they hope those players can get the team back into the postseason.
NBA Betting Trends:
The under is 4-1 in the Bucks’ last five games against Eastern Conference opponents.
Free NBA Prediction:
We could see the Bucks have some trouble scoring the basketball as they’re without a pair of their most talented scorers. One thing we can be certain of is that Kidd will have his players playing as fierce as ever on the defensive end.

With the Knicks adding a series of veteran players who can solidify the team’s presence at the defensive end, the under is the play here.
