With their first losing streak of the season, Lebron James isn’t holding back from bashing the Cavaliers poor play.
Him and the rest of the Cavs will look to get back on track when they host the Milwaukee Bucks on TNT Thursday night.
These two teams met up on Saturday night in Milwaukee and the Bucks put an end to the Cavaliers 8 game winning streak with a double overtime win.
Milwaukee knocked Cleveland off Saturday, but failed to build any kind of momentum from that win as they came crashing down hard in their loss to the Wizards last time out.
Milwaukee was dominated in every aspect of the game as they fell 115-86. With the loss, the Bucks are now back to a game under the .500 mark and things will continue to be extremely tough on them with Jabari Parker expected to be OUT for this whole road trip.
Parker continues to battle a foot injury.
Milwaukee will need to bring that same play that forced Cleveland into 20 turnovers on Saturday. They had 7 players score in double figures, but that was not the case on Tuesday against Washington.
C Greg Monroe in particular had a miserable game as he put up just 4 points and 5 rebounds in what was his worst performance of the season by far.
It’s only been 2 straight losses and the Cavaliers are still 8-3, but don’t tell Lebron James that.
James has continued to lay into the team about poor performances and has continuously said “they haven’t won anything.” James has been quick to blame himself too as he’s continued to turn the ball over and miss shots down the stretch of games during this 2 game losing streak.
Now, the Cavaliers return home and get the chance to get themselves back together here on Thursday. Cleveland is 5-0 at home, but a majority of their games inside the Q have been close as they are just 1-4 ATS.
While Lebron has turned the ball over a lot, he is still producing during this skid. James has put up 67 points, 18 rebounds, and 8 assists over the last 2 games.
Lebron has had 30 or more points in the last 4 games and 5 out of 6. Cleveland’s ability to finish over the last 2 losses has been the biggest reason for failure.
