The six-game losing streak finally came to an end on Monday as the Heat defeated the Knicks.
After rising from the depths of the East all the way up to the fourth seed the recent struggles witnessed Miami fall back under .500 and plummet to the eighth seed.

Goran Dragic returned after missing four games playing 24 minutes and contributing four points. Kendrick Nunn did not play.
Udonis Haslem (protocols), and KZ Okpala (protocols) were out Monday and listed as day-to-day.
Nemanja Bjelica played in his first match getting five minutes on the court collecting a single rebound. Victor Oladipo hasn’t yet played for the Heat since being traded to the team.
Indiana Pacers
Without Bradley Beal in the lineup for Washington, it looked good for the Pacers to collect their fifth win in six games but another Wizards’ star had something to say about it.
Russell Westbrook who only joined the Wizards this season entered the franchise record books with the most triple-doubles in history with 35 points, 14 rebounds, and 21 assist effort.
It’s one thing to let Westbrook score 35 points but to allow him to simply dominate all aspects of the game is another. The best the Pacers could offer came from Domantas Sabonis who provided a double-double of 35 points and 11 rebounds
Malcolm Brogdon added 26 points and eight assists. Myles Turner and Justin Holiday scored 11 and 10 points respectively as the only other double-figure contributors.
While Westbrook posed the biggest issue the bench was another problem with the Wizards outscoring the Pacers bench 49 to 34.
Doug McDermott (ankle) missed the game Monday and is questionable for Wednesday. The Pacers advised TJ Warren will miss the remainder of the season.
