The Miami Heat will be hosting the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, December 6th. The tip-off is set for 7:30 ET from the FTX Arena.

The Grizzlies have played pretty well so far this year. I am sure they would like to be playing more consistently, but they should not complain about how they have looked so far.
This squad has won four games in a row. Winning a fifth in a row will not be easy when they go against a very good team in the Heat.
The way this team has played so far has really not surprised me. I was pretty high on this squad heading into the year. I really liked what they did last year and I thought they would build off of that for this season.
Of course, Ja Morant is their best player, but they also have some good talent around him. This team has even done a good job playing when he has not played. To me, they are not quite a contender, but I do feel that they could get to that point a few years down the road.
Memphis beat the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday by a score of 97-90. Even though the Mavs were short-handed, this was still a good win for them. Things will be much tougher for them when they face a good heat team on the road.
Desmond Bane was the leading scorer in the win over Dallas with 29 points and 9 rebounds. Also, three players had 11 points–Dillon Brooks, Steven Adams, and De’Anthony Melton.
Miami Heat
The Heat have played very well so far this year. This should not come as a surprise to folks because this is one of the better teams in the Eastern Confernce. When all is said and done, they will certainly be in the mix.
At the moment, Miami has a record of 14-10, which puts them in 4th place in the East. Currently, the teams ahead of them are Nets, Bulls, and Bucks.
Compared to some other teams, they may not have the most talent, but they play very well together. They are not an easy out for anybody out there.
Miami lost to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday by a score of 124-102. They lost to a good team for sure, but you cannot get smoked by that many points.
When you barely score over 100 points, it is hard to win games. It makes it even harder when your opponent scores close to 130. Although the Grizzlies are not as good of a team as the Bucks, things will not be all that much easier when they face off on Monday.

I can see this being a pretty close game. Neither team is a lot better than the other to the point where I think it is going to be a blowout.
