There isn’t anything extra special to say about the Pistons. They aren’t good, nor are they going anywhere. They are a mediocre NBA basketball team and dark days are certainly coming ahead of any brighter ones.
They are paying Blake Griffin next year, and the next year, and the year after that. They are paying Andre Drummond next year and the year after that. They are paying Reggie Jackson next year. They are paying Jon Leuer next year; he hasn’t made a three in two years.

There aren’t any shooters. That’s sort of the story of it. Griffin and Drummond can still play but there isn’t any threat from the outside. All they’re really doing, though, is assuring the Pistons are better than the Hawks, Bulls, Knicks and Cavs. Washington is about to tank the East, too.
