The Detroit Pistons head home having lost four games in a row, and they’ll be greeted rudely by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cleveland comes to town after receiving a tongue-lashing from star forward LeBron James, who spoke openly about his unhappiness with his team’s recent play.
Cleveland may have a bit of a tough time turning that around in this one. Each of the team’s two losses came on the road against Central Division opponents – a streak they’ll be looking to end Tuesday night against the Pistons.
Kevin Love comes into this game with the second highest rebound rate in the East, behind only a player he’ll oppose on Tuesday. His Cavaliers fell to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday by a score of 108-105 in a double-overtime thriller.
LeBron posted season highs in points and rebounds with 37 and 12, but he also turned the ball over seven times. With 10 points, James will pass Jerry West for 19th on the all-time scoring list.
The Cavaliers won three of four against the Pistons last season, but they allowed Reggie Jackson to rack up 40 points and 17 assists in the final two meetings.
Andre Drummond’s put up some very gaudy numbers for the Pistons, and put up another 17 points and 17 boards during Sunday’s 97-85 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
On the season, Drummond is averaging 18.5 points and 19.0 rebounds on a per game basis.
Drummond has recorded a double-double in all 10 games this season, the longest such streak since Zach Randolph started the 2012-13 season with 11 straight double-doubles.
The last time a player averaged 19 or more rebounds through 10 games was Dennis Rodman who has 19.3 in 1993-94.
NBA Betting Trends:

Free NBA Prediction:
The Cavaliers haven’t been playing at their best of late, even with an 8-2 record. The Pistons, meanwhile, don’t have the wins to show for it, but they’ve played much better basketball in the early part of this season than they did a year ago.
4* Free NBA Betting Pick: Pistons +5
The Pistons have the weapons to frustrate the Cavaliers, who have faced their toughest opposition from divisional foes. Don’t be surprised to see this one end in an upset.
