However, Serge Ibaka (swollen knee) joined Kyle Lowry (thigh contusion) and Jonas Valanciunus (surgery – dislocated thumb) on the sidelines. This meant Toronto was missing three of their top six players.

Through most of the game, the Raptors embodied the theory of first games back from opposite coast trips are when teams have difficulty playing with energy.
