I noted in my recent preview the Cavaliers will be tested in the coming weeks based on a more difficult schedule. We got an immediate sign that perhaps they aren’t the best team in the East with a decisive loss to the Thunder.
Conversely, they may just have hit the winter wall and will get back on track now that they have faced some adversity.
There is no shame in losing to the Thunder but how they lost especially after almost losing to the Raptors and then falling to the Pacers (in the game where Haliburton played) suggests there is more work to do.
