Miami won the last meeting between these two teams back in January, 100-94, at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. This once fun rivalry has taken a turn for the worse this year, but this still should be a fun game to watch.

Cleveland comes into this game winners of two out of their last five games, with wins over New York and Orlando. They were back on the losing side of things on Wednesday night, as they fell to Brooklyn, 113-107.

Cleveland sure isn’t involved in the playoff race this year, and will most likely be the next team eliminated from playoff contention in the next few days, but they are in on a race of a different kind, the race for the number one pick, and Zion Williamson.
In their loss Wednesday night to Brooklyn, the Cavs shot 40.2% from the field, and a very impressive 42.1% from three point land. They hit 21 of their 29 free throw attempts for a percentage of 72.4. They were outrebounded by Brooklyn 50-47.

Kevin Love led Cleveland with 24 points and a team high 16 rebounds. Larry Nance Jr. had a double-double as well, with 17 points and 10 rebounds. David Nwaba added 22 points off the bench in 20 minutes of action.
Miami Heat
The Heat come into this game winners of four out of their last five games, with their 91-84 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night. Their lone loss over that stretch was to Houston, whom they lost to 121-118.
Miami currently has a one game lead over the Orlando Magic for the 8th and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. A win here at home is a probability against the leagues third worst team, who has only won 6 times on the road all year.

In their win over Charlotte, the Heat shot 41.8% from the field, but struggled a bit from deep, hitting only 9 of their 26 three point attempts. They only got to the line 11 times, and struggled in that aspect of their game too, making only 6 of those shots for a 54.5% clip. They did a great job on the glass, outrebounding the Hornets 52-40.
Kelly Olynyk had a game high 22 points for Miami to go with his 11 rebounds. Hassan Whiteside had a game high 15 rebounds to go along with 18 points in 20 minutes of action off the bench.
