With their athleticism and youth, they make life difficult in the paint, and unless the twin towers for Cleveland ramp up their effort, this could turn into a blowout.
It will be interesting to see which player gets the nod in Houston for the All-Star Game because each of Kevin Durant and Alperen Sengun are having big seasons. It’s unlikely both get the nod.
In terms of injuries, the Cavs have most players back except Max Strus and Larry Nance Jr., who are each out until the 29th.
The Rockets bring a full complement of the roster to the court except Fred VanVleet, who is recovering from a knee injury and will miss the season.
Both clubs have depth and youth to offer, but the Rockets are superior at home with an 8-2 record, so I’ll roll with them to pick up the win, but I’ll also take the points and Cavs to keep things close.
