Charlotte Hornets
This game will be a rematch just six days after the Hornets stole a victory from the jaws of defeat thanks to two late Draymond Green technical fouls and a Terry Rozier buzzer-beater.
Since then, Charlotte has been out West. It got smoked in Utah but bounced back nicely on Wednesday with a narrow win in Phoenix, 124–121.
All five starters were in double-figures and combined for 70 points. Malik Monk, however, led all scorers with 29 off the bench. He didn’t hold back, attempting 21 shots in 28 minutes.

Monk started the season extremely slowly. He played in just six of Charlotte’s first 19 games and hit double-figures just once (when he finished with exactly 10 points).
Since then, he has not missed a game and has finished in double-figures eight times in twelve games. He hit for 36 earlier in the month against Miami and has gone for at least 20 in three of the Hornets’ last four.
The one game he did not came against the Warriors, who held him to 3-of-11 from the field and 1-of-7 from deep.
Golden State Warriors
Golden State should have won that game, despite missing Stephen Curry, Kevon Looney and James Wiseman, who should all play in this game.
The Warriors have won both games since that loss in Charlotte, beating the Knicks in New York and the Pacers in Indiana.
Curry, who missed the Hornets game with an illness, returned in time for both. So did Looney and Wiseman, who had been out for several weeks.
Both have re-acclimated well. Head Coach Steve Kerr plugged Looney right back into the starting lineup, while giving Wiseman solid minutes off the bench.
Wiseman has finished in double-figures in both games. Looney brings a steadiness on both ends of the floor at the center position. The Warriors are better off with him available.

Free Charlotte Hornets vs. Golden State Warriors NBA Prediction: Golden State.
At first glance, the six point spread looks rather large. Charlotte has been frisky all season and it did just beat the Warriors less than a week ago.
But Golden State is going to be out to win this game after the way the last one ended. It can also really score the ball and Charlotte struggles to get stops, especially on the road.
So I’m looking to play Golden State in teasers and even back it modestly to cover the number.
