Miles Bridges was the leading scorer for them Friday with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists. Gordon Hayward chipped in 19 points as well.
Dallas Mavericks
The Mavericks have been an up-and-down team this year. They certainly are not playing up to their full potential.
At the moment, Dallas has a record of 13-13, which puts them in 7th place of the Western Conference. Clearly, they are going to have to play much better if they wish to get a better seed.
Out of all the teams in the West, I did not put this squad in the group of elite teams, but I certainly put them in the category below that. Truthfully, I would have to put them in a tier below that because I really have not been impressed by what I have seen so far.
Dallas took care of the OKC Thunder on Sunday by a score of 103-84. They did just what they had to do against a team that is not very good. It will be much harder for them when they host the Hornets.
It was good to see this team pick up a win without Luka Doncic in the lineup. Of course, they will need him out there come playoff time, but the reality is, he will not play every game in the regular season.
