Saturday, December 10th, the Brooklyn Nets and Indiana Pacers complete their season series with this fourth meeting.
The clubs completed a baseball series with the teams splitting the set as Indy won on October 29th (125-116) and Brooklyn won on the 31st (116-109). Indiana took the 2-1 series lead winning 128-117 on November 25th.
Both teams are completing a back-to-back set with the Nets defeating the undermanned Hawks 120-116 while the Pacers defeated the Wizards 121-111.
The teams have played a total of 191 occasions in their history with the Pacers winning 110 contests. Last season, the clubs played three times with the Nets sweeping the season series.
Brooklyn Nets
The Nets have just completed a seven-game homestand and enter a road-heavy stint in their schedule. This match marks the start of a four-game trip that will continue with visits to Washington, Toronto, and Detroit.

Having completed their seven-game road trip out West, the Pacers now enter a home-heavy schedule where they’ll play 12 of their next 18 games at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
While the Pacers will be thrilled to be dining on home cooking this segment isn’t a cakewalk as 10 of the 18 games are against winning teams, five others feature .500 teams (76ers x, Warriors, Raptors, Knicks x2), plus they’ll play the Heat twice who is arguably better than their record.
The Western road trip didn’t exactly go as planned (2-5) but considering they were without Tyrese Haliburton for two games and still rallied to beat the Warriors there are plenty of positives to take from the trip.
Not the least of which was rookie Andrew Nembhard being the main reason for the two victories with his game-winning 3-pointer in LA and his double-double (31 points, 13 assists plus eight assists) in Steph-like fashion at the Chase Center powering the undermanned Pacers to the win.
The Pacers average 115.0 points per game (11th) shooting 45.1% from the field (26th) and 36.1% from deep (14th). Defensively, Indy allows 116.1 points (25th) with opponents shooting 46.7% from the field (15th), and 36.7% from deep (23rd).
James Johnson (elbow) and Myles Turner (hamstring) are questionable. Isaiah Jackson (knee) is out Saturday. Daniel Theis (knee) and Chris Duarte (ankle) are out.
