This is an MGM Resorts Main Event Heavyweight from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas between two smaller, yet quality, West Coast programs that have their fair share of experience playing these sorts of games in Vegas.
Colorado Buffaloes
Colorado comes in as the ranked side, 23rd in the AP Poll and 25th in the Coaches Poll, having beaten UC-Irvine, San Diego and Arizona State already.

The Buffs return their top seven scorers from a team a year ago that won twenty-three games and finished with a 10–8 conference record.
Tyler Bey and McKinley Wright IV both scored in double-figures as sophomores last year and they are so far combining to score thirty per game as a duo in 2019-2020.
At just 6’7″ Bey is grabbing ten boards per game and he’s recorded eleven steals through three games.
Wright is just 6′ and 195 pounds but still manages five rebounds per game himself to go along with five assists. Neither guy is much of a three-point threat but that’s where D’Shawn Schwartz, Colorado’s third scorer at nearly thirteen points per game, comes in. He is shooting over fifty percent on four attempts per game from outside through three games this season.
Wyoming Cowboys
Coming off a 24-loss season a year ago, Wyoming has already lost three in the early going this year, including two bad blowouts.

The first came at South Carolina, where the Cowboys managed just thirty-two points as a team in a game they got more than doubled-up. They also lost to Fullerton before losing by twenty against Oregon State.
Hunter Maldonado is a sophomore and the team’s leading scorer. Unlike Bey with Colorado, though, he doesn’t have a sidekick like Wright who can share the load.
Maldonado scores 16.5 per game, more than double the next guy on the roster.
