Lonzo Ball, LAL (vs ORL), $7.4 DK, $8.0k FD
Lonzo Ball is coming off a bad game against the Portland Trail Blazers, but before that, he’d been averaging 42.2 FPTS per game in his three prior.
On Wednesday, he’s playing against one of the league’s best slump-busters in the Orlando Magic—a group that is just 27th in defending guards in DFS.
Gary Harris (vs CLE) $6.3k DK, $7.2k FD
The Cleveland Cavaliers got younger and more athletic at the trade deadline, but that hasn’t taken away from the fact that there’s still plenty to work on defensively.
The Denver Nuggets offer two affordable options at the guard position in Gary Harris and Jamal Murray—Harris is averaging 39.2 FPTS per contest over his last three, while Murray is posting 26.9 FPTS per night over the same stretch.
Nikola Mirotic, NOLA (@ SAC), $6.3k DK, $6.8k FD
Nikola Mirotic is never going to be DeMarcus Cousins, but he’s looked like a brilliant pickup once the All-Star center went down with one of the game’s most devastating injuries.
Against a struggling Sacramento Kings squad that only has interest in gaining lottery position, Mirotic will have every opportunity to find success.
Larry Nance Jr., CLE (@ DEN), $6.3k DK, $7.5k FD
Larry Nance Jr. should really be starting for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Against a fast-paced Denver team—a team trying to re-integrate Paul Millsap back into the rotation—Nance should impact both sides of the floor in an above-the-rim fashion.
Clint Capela, HOU (@ MIL) $7.1k DK, $7.5k FD
On Wednesday night, there are a few elite centers available. If you have multiple low-cost, high-value picks in mind, Anthony Davis will be impossible to fade against the Sacramento Kings.
Buf it the Davises, Andre Drummonds and Nikola Jokices of the world aren’t in your budget, Clint Capela is your next option.
Against the Milwaukee Bucks, the Houston Rockets big man will be going up against a team that failed to address its need for a star centers at the trade deadline.
James Harden and Chris Paul will both look to get the big man the ball out in transition and in the pick-and-roll, and there’s little reason to fear his production.
- OUT: Brandon Ingram, LAL, F [Upgrades: Lonzo Ball, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope]
- OUT: Kevin Love, CLE, F/C [Upgrades: Larry Nance, Jr.]
One last thing. Remember… at the end of the day if you can’t afford to gamble online OR play at Draft Kings and Fan Duel then STOP. We know most DFS players need action, heck we do too, so just bet what you can afford.
Don’t go chasing money in high dollar GPP’s. Stick to cash games, and try to play on bigger slates. Avoid those night time 2 games slates. Your bankroll will thank us later.
