Stephen Curry, GSW (vs SAS), $9.1k DK
You’re going to be tempted to take a number of big-name point guards on Wednesday night. For starters, James Harden is in action. Next up, Luka Doncic—the runaway Rookie of the Year and absolute wunderkind phenom—is at home against Charlotte and would be another strong pick.
But you know who’s cheaper than both of those cats and just as valuable? The original Splash Brother.
On Wednesday night, Harden will cost you $12.6k, while Luka is sitting at a cool $9.5k.
Steph, at just over $9k, has a lower floor than Harden but just as high a ceiling. Take your chances on fading Harden—but only if Steph is getting your first guard spot.
Kelly Oubre Jr., PHO (@ UTAH) $5.8k DK
Kelly Oubre is coming off a big-time performances against the Houston Rockets, going for 38.25 FPTS.
Against the Jazz on Wednesday, Oubre will be facing a must stauncher defense, but he’ll be a prime candidate to exceed his value-to-price-tag ratio of the Suns are able to push the pace and create extra possessions against a team that otherwise likes to slow it down.
Derrick Favors (vs PHO), $4.8k DK
On the other side of that Suns-Jazz contest, Derrick Favors is an easy choice to be one of the best value picks of the game. His sub-$5k value is borderline crazy considering just two games ago he went for nearly 35 FPTS.
The Suns aren’t exactly known as defensive juggernauts. In fact, they’re not known as juggernauts of anything.
Favors should have a field day.
Al-Farouq Aminu (vs MIA), $4.8 DK
Al-Farouq Aminu has value pick written all over him Tuesday night. He’s going up against a subpar Miami Heat defense, and the Blazers are coming off a rare five-day break.
Don’t underestimate how important five straight days off can be in the NBA—especially when your opponent typically resides all the way across the country.
Jahlil Okafor, NOLA (@ CHI) $7.3k DK
Jahlil Okafor’s price tag has risen drastically in the absence of Anthony Davis. And wouldn’t you know it, Davis is set to miss yet another game as the Pelicans wait out the Los Angeles Lakers’ current offer for Anthony Davis.
Give this game to the Pelicans, quite frankly because the Chicago Bulls are terrible at the moment. And as a result, expect Okafor to be a big part of that.
One last thing. Remember… at the end of the day if you can’t afford to gamble online OR play at Draft Kings and Fan Duel then STOP. We know most DFS players need action, heck we do too, so just bet what you can afford.
Don’t go chasing money in high dollar GPP’s. Stick to cash games, and try to play on bigger slates. Avoid those night time 2 games slates. Your bankroll will thank us later.
