Guards
Chris Paul, HOU (@ LAC), $8.3 DK, $8.4k FD
There are six point guards playing Wednesday night who are priced higher than Chris Paul. Russell Westbrook? Makes sense. Stephen Curry? Sure. His own teammate James Harden. You bet.
[dfads params=’groups=38073&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
But knowing that Paul has a chance to show out in front of his old home crowd against his old team means vengeance is on the horizon.
Paul’s not cheap, but he could prove to be good value.
Lou Williams, LAC (vs HOU) $7.9k DK, $7.7k FD
The Houston Rockets are an underrated defensive team, but still mediocre at best. There’s little reason to believe they and their fast-paced approach will be able to stop—or even contain—Lou Williams, who has been showing out this season in Paul’s absence.
Forwards
Jaylen Brown, BOS (vs CHA), $5.6k DK, $5.2k FD
Jaylen Brown has become Mr. Reliable for the Boston Celtics. You know you’re not going to get a breakout night very often, but you know you can take him without fear of a bust.
Kyle Anderson, SAS (vs NOLA), $5.1k DK, $5.7k FD
Kyle Anderson represents a solid value pick on Wednesday. Not only has he been known to put together big performances this season with Kawhi Leonard out, but he’s up against a New Orleans Pelicans squad that is dead last in defending forwards in DFS.
Centers
Al Horford, BOS (vs CHA) $6.3k DK, $6.5k FD
With Dwight Howard questionable heading into Wednesday’s contest, Al Horford becomes a strong pick at his price.
The Boston big man has split his time between power forward and center (35 percent and 65 percent, respectively, per Basketball-Reference.com), but regardless of what position he plays on Wednesday, a Hornets team sans Howard is going to give up plenty of rebounds.
Horford has a chance in this one to make an impact not just on the boards, but at the rim and beyond the three-point line. The Hornets are second in the NBA in defending players at the center position; again, though, that’s largely because of Howard.
If Howard doesn’t play, Horford becomes an easy choice. Keep on eye on Superman’s status.
Injuries/Upgrades
- OUT: John Wall, WSH, G [Bradley Beal, Otto Porter Jr., Tim Frazier]
- QST: Kevin Love, CLE, F/C [UPGRADES: Larry Nance Jr.]
One last thing. Remember… at the end of the day if you can’t afford to gamble online OR play at Draft Kings and Fan Duel then STOP. We know most DFS players need action, heck we do too, so just bet what you can afford.
