Guards
Trae Young, ATL (vs MIN), $8.3k DK
Trae Young is having a very good second half of his rookie campaign. If it weren’t for all the early hype around Luka Doncic—not to mention the Slovenian’s ever-improving demeanor and skill set—Young would stand a shot at being the Rookie of the Year favorite.
Against Minnesota on Wednesday night, that theme shouldn’t change, as he should have a field day against a porous Timberwolves defense.
Andrew Wiggins, MIN (@ ATL) $6.2k DK
You know who else has a terrible, no-good, very bad defense? The Atlanta Hawks. This season, the Hawks have been just 29th when defending perimeter players in DFS.
Andrew Wiggins may not be the most efficient scorer on the planet, but he’s a volume scorer who, like Young, should have a field day against a defense that offers little resistance to bucket-getters.

Forwards
Kyle Kuzma, LAL (vs NOLA), $6.2k DK
Kyle Kuzma—as well as Brandon Ingram—has plenty of motivation coming into this one. He, as well as the rest of the young core, were dangled in front of the Pelicans as trade bait during Los Angeles’ pursuit of Anthony Davis. With AD playing like a shell of himself most nights with an odd minutes restriction in front of him, Kuzma should be looking at one of his better games of the year.
At least, the Lakers better hope that’s the case, because another bad loss could be their postseason undoing at this point in the 2018-19 campaign.
Jake Layman, POR (@ BOS) $4.0 DK
Jake Layman represents a risk on Wednesday night that most DFS players won’t be willing to take. But he’s been consistently good on a competitive Portland Trail Blazers team, and the last couple of times he’s been on national TV, he’s shown out.
Combine that with the fact that drafting a player at $4k paves the way to drafting a top-tier player at another slot.
Center
Thomas Bryant, WSH (@ BKN), $4.6k
If you’re not willing to give Jake Layman a test drive, Thomas Bryant could be your alternate value pick of the day. Bryant just recently went for 55 FPTS. Oh, not just once, by the way. He went off for 55 FPTS twice in a seven-game span.
Bryant is trending in the right direction, and not just during outlier explosions. He’s a very good value pick against the Nets on Wednesday at just $4.6k.

One last thing. Remember… at the end of the day if you can’t afford to gamble online OR play at Draft Kings and Fan Duel then STOP. We know most DFS players need action, heck we do too, so just bet what you can afford.
Don’t go chasing money in high dollar GPP’s. Stick to cash games, and try to play on bigger slates. Avoid those night time 2 games slates. Your bankroll will thank us later.
