Jamal Murray, DEN (@ LAL) $5.9k DK
The Los Angeles Lakers are going to be a fun team to pick on while Rajon Rondo is suspended. Jamal Murray gets the chance to do just that on Thursday.
Against Los Angeles, Jamal Murray should have a field day going up against Lonzo Ball. The Lakers are 27th in the NBA defending the guard position so far this season in DFS, and the team’s not going to get any better before Rondo makes his return next week.
CJ McCollum, POR(@ ORL), $6.1k DK
CJ McCollum has had a relatively quiet start to the year, and he’s coming off one of the worst performances we’ve seen from him in a long time.
Don’t let that scare you away, though. The Orlando Magic are just 24th in DFS defending the guard position, and they’ll have all eyes on Damian Lillard.
CJ’s cost won’t be this low all season. Take advantage of it now—especially as he looks to bounce back after a terrible showing against the Washington Wizards.
Jayson Tatum, BOS (@ OKC), $6.6k DK
Like McCollum, Tatum is coming off a poor offensive showing. Also like McCollum, his cost has dropped.
Also also like McCollum, you need to snag him up. He should be great value here, especially because the Thunder are just 27th so far this season in DFS when defending forwards.
Al-Farouq Aminu, POR (@ ORL), $5k DK
Al-Farouq Aminu is coming off a solid 16-point, 15-rebound, 3-three-point showing against the Washington Wizards, hence his cost rising to $5k for the first time all season. But the cost should be well worth it against an Orlando Magic team that is still trying to figure out its logjam in the front court. The Magic are 13th this season in DFS when defending forwards, but they’re risking falling into the bottom half of the league with just one bad performance.
That bad performance should come on Thursday night against the Blazers, as they look to lock in on Damian Lillard and let the rest of the roster beat them.
Andre Drummond, DET (@ CLE) $9k DK
At $9k, Andre Drummond is the third-most expensive player you can find to fill your center spot; only Blake Griffin ($9.6k) and Nikola Jokic ($9.8k). But he’s also bound to be one of the most productive players of the entire Thursday night slate.
Drummond, going up against the lowly and re-tooling Cleveland Cavaliers, should have a field day here. Don’t be scared off by his price tag unless you’re targeting someone like LeBron James on national TV (although be cautious: He’s playing one of the most underrated defensive teams in the NBA in the Denver Nuggets).
- Rajon Rondo/Brandon Ingram, G/F, LAL [UPGRADES: Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart]
One last thing. Remember… at the end of the day if you can’t afford to gamble online OR play at Draft Kings and Fan Duel then STOP. We know most DFS players need action, heck we do too, so just bet what you can afford.
Don’t go chasing money in high dollar GPP’s. Stick to cash games, and try to play on bigger slates. Avoid those night time 2 games slates. Your bankroll will thank us later.
