Zach LaVine, CHI (vs ATL), $8.1k DK
Zach LaVine is questionable in this contest, so pay close attention to his status before the day’s early slate begins. But if he ends up playing against the Hawks, he’s a gimme at $8.1k as the Bulls’ most consistent and dynamic scorer. The fact that he’s going up against a terrible defense in the Atlanta Hawks is in his favor, and we saw what happened when these two faced off on Friday night.
Trae Young, ATL (@ CHI) $8.9k DK
In case you missed Friday night’s contest between the Hawks and Bulls, it went to four overtimes and became the third-highest scoring game in league history. No, you can’t expect to see that kind of barn-burner again. But the Bulls aren’t a good defensive squad either. On the year, Chicago is 29th in defending guards in DFS. The only team behind them? You guessed it: the Hawks. Both of these guards are worth stacking on Sunday.
Dewayne Dedmon, ATL (@ CHI), $5.7k DK
We’re going to double down on this Hawks-Bulls stack with the forward position. Dewayne Dedmon is a great pick to consider on Sunday, as the Bulls are just the 27th team in the league when defending forwards in DFS. Last game, Dedmon went for 45 FPTS. Again, don’t expect a duplicate outcome considering the last outing went to four overtimes. But this guy is going to be all over the stat sheet, including the three-point line. This type of game is made for him.
Kent Bazemore, ATL (@ CHI) $4.6 DK
Kent Bazemore offers high upside against his $4.6k price tag. Unless we haven’t hammered it home enough, no defense will be played in this contest. It’s going to be a dream opportunity for Baze to get his numbers, and that’s only intensified by the fact that Kevin Huerter is questionable and Taurean Prince has been ruled out.
Mitchell Robinson, NYK (vs GSW), $6.5k
As tempting as it was to highlight Lauri Markkanen here as a solid tier-1/tier-2 option against the porous Bulls defense, we’ll break tradition and instead highlight a player who is playing the best basketball of his young career. Mitchell Robinson is coming off a bit of a dud performance as his new standards are concerned, scoring 12 points and collecting 6 rebounds en route to 26.75 FPTS. The two games prior to that, however, were for 54 and 45 FPTS, respectively. The Clippers are just 26th when defending players at Robinson’s position this season, so the string of good games should continue.
One last thing. Remember… at the end of the day if you can’t afford to gamble online OR play at Draft Kings and Fan Duel then STOP. We know most DFS players need action, heck we do too, so just bet what you can afford.
Don’t go chasing money in high dollar GPP’s. Stick to cash games, and try to play on bigger slates. Avoid those night time 2 games slates. Your bankroll will thank us later.
