Guards
DeMar DeRozan, SAS (@ NYK), $8.1k DK
DeMar DeRozan has a chance to go off for one of his better showings this season. The Knicks are just 21st this season when defending guards in DFS and they’re putting all their efforts toward earning the No. 1 pick instead of earning wins.
DeRozan is coming off an emotional return to Toronto that saw him score a DFS score of 44 on Friday night. He should be able to keep the momentum going here, and without the emotional burden of playing in front of his former home crowd.
Jamal Murray, DEN (vs LAC) $6.3k DK
The LA Clippers have gone public saying they’re not going to tank and that Steve Balmer, their billionaire owner, wants to make the playoffs. That’s all fine and dandy, but this team is facing a Nuggets squad that has been arguably the best or second-best team out West all season.
LA has been able to skirt by on offensive showings, but their defense has been atrocious all season. Jamal Murray is going to take full advantage of that on Sunday.

Forwards
Aaron Gordon, ORL (@ TOR), $6.5k DK
Aaron Gordon is going to be a sneaky-good pick during Sunday night’s three-game slate. With only three games on the schedule, it’s going to be tempting to double down and take a top-tier player at forward along with DeRozan at the guard spot. But while Air Gordon doesn’t necessarily do anything at an elite level, he’s a better overall player than he often gets credit for.
On Sunday, he’s facing a Toronto team that is just 24th when defending forwards in DFS this season. He should have no problem loading up his box score in this one.
Jonathan Motley, LAC (@ DEN), $3.2 DK
Jonathan Motley reprsents the ultimate boom-or-bust pick on Sunday night. This isn’t an endorsement to draft him; it’s a look at what you need to know.
Two games ago, Motley saw a season-high 29 minutes and went for 17.75 FPTS despite averaging just 9.8 FPTS on the year. But this isn’t the first time we’ve seen that. Last year in April, Motley put together a strong showing with the most minutes in a specific stretch he’d seen for his entire career.
On Sunday, Motley will be replacing Wilson Chandler as LA’s backup forward. Denver’s defense won’t be easy to crack, but Motley may not be on their radars.
Low floor, high ceiling is the perfect way to describe this second-year forward.
Center
DeAndre Jordan, NYK (vs SAS), $6.2k
If you can afford either Nikola Vucevic or Nikola Jokic, you should take them. They’re going to have field days against the Raptors and Clippers, respectively. Maybe someone like Motley at the forward spot even helps out with the justification.
But if you’re looking for a more reasonably priced big who could have a big game during a short slate, look no further than New York Knicks center DeAndre Jordan.
DAJ is going up against a Spurs team that is in the bottom half of the league when it comes to defending centers in DFS. The Spurs of today don’t have anybody who’s comfortable doing the dirty work, so Jordan should be able to make his impact felt in a way that improves his box score without giving the Knicks much of a shot to actually win.

One last thing. Remember… at the end of the day if you can’t afford to gamble online OR play at Draft Kings and Fan Duel then STOP. We know most DFS players need action, heck we do too, so just bet what you can afford.
Don’t go chasing money in high dollar GPP’s. Stick to cash games, and try to play on bigger slates. Avoid those night time 2 games slates. Your bankroll will thank us later.
