Mike Conley, MEM (vs LAC), $7.6k DK
Mike Conley—somehow, someway—continues to fly under the radar. On Friday night, he should end up being in the spotlight against a Los Angeles Clippers team that is just 22nd this season defending guards in DFS.
Jamal Murray, DEN (@ DAL) $6.3k DK
Speaking of guards facing poor defensive squads, we turn your attention to Jamal Murray. His Denver Nuggets are facing the Dalas Mavericks, who are just 23rd when defending guards in DFS. The Nuggets are in a race for the top spot out West while the Mavericks are quickly approaching an official elimination from the postseason. These teams have opposite agendas at this point, and it’ll show in the box scores.
Domantas Sabonis, IND (vs NOLA), $5.5k DK
The New Orleans Pelicans are a mess. They’re continuing to play Anthony Davis, and with every passing game AD looks worse and worse. It’s true that he’ll likely put together an inspired showing at some point, but immediately out of the All-Star break isn’t when that’s going to go down. The Indiana Pacers should be able to take advantage of that, and Domantas Sabonis could likely be the biggest beneficiary.
Rudy Gay, SAS (@ TOR), $5.4 DK
Rudy Gay is only a good value pick if LaMarcus Aldridge, who is questionable as of this writing, actually sits on Friday night. If the big man is out, Gay becomes a good scoring option with the team’s 1B sidelined. If Aldridge plays, it’s probably best to stay away from the small forward in DFS considering the Raptors are the No. 6 team in the NBA this season in Defensive Efficiency.
Andre Drummond, DET (@ ATL), $9.0k
Blake Griffin will be a tempting option here because of his scoring abilities, but he’s also going to be the one going up against the younger, spryer John Collins. Blake should put together a complete box score, but we like Andre Drummond at just $100 higher going up against the likes of 29-year-old Dewayne Dedmon. Drummond has been putting up bonkers numbers lately, and it’s not likely to stop against the lowly Hawks with playoff positioning on the line as the home stretch officially begins.
One last thing. Remember… at the end of the day if you can’t afford to gamble online OR play at Draft Kings and Fan Duel then STOP. We know most DFS players need action, heck we do too, so just bet what you can afford.
Don’t go chasing money in high dollar GPP’s. Stick to cash games, and try to play on bigger slates. Avoid those night time 2 games slates. Your bankroll will thank us later.
