Centers
Jack Eichel – BUF vs (NYI) — $7.5K DraftKings /$15.3K FantasyDraft
Eichel just keeps rolling as the season moves on, with 17 points in 13 games. He also sits just behind Jeff Skinner for the team lead with shots on goal with 43.
One standout stat for Eichel has been his domination while playing at home this season. 14 of his 17 points have come in just 6 games played at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo.
The Sabres head into this match up against the Islanders with the #2 ranked PP in the NHL. Eichel, for his part, has put up 8 power play points in 6 games in points.
Phillip Danault – MTL @ (DAL) — $4.3K DraftKings /$8.3K FantasyDraft
Danault has been a very pleasant surprise for the Canadiens to start the year. He’s been plugged into the top line by coach Claude Julien and has taken full advantage of it.
He’s playing almost 18 minutes a game, and sits with an impressive 57% Corsi rating heading into this game against Dallas. He’s chipped in with 4 points in his last 5.
Danault has been on and off the Canadiens power play this season — even without guaranteed PP time, he’s priced very well considering his strong possession numbers at even strength.
Wingers
David Pastrnak – BOS vs (OTT) — $8.2K DraftKings /$16.8K FantasyDraft
If you haven’t heard, David Pastrnak is very good at hockey. 12 games played. 12 goals. 12 assists. 60% Corsi. 11 points in his last 5 games.
He’s all sorts of chalk tonight, but you’d have to be going super contrarian if you decide not to insert Pastrank in atleast a few lineups tonight.
His Bruins face off against the Senators, who sit at the bottom of the league with just 3 wins on the season. Oh, and if you need more convincing to run a few lineups with Pastrank — he only put up 9 points in 3 games against Ottawa last season.
Alex Nylander – CHI @ (LA) — $3.5K DraftKings /$9.1K FantasyDraft
I inserted Nylander into some lineups a few days ago when he was bumped up to the second line with the ‘Hawks — he’s since been dropped to the 4th.
Normally, I’d stay clear of 4th liners, but Nylander is still seeing #1 PP unit time with Patrick Kane and company. He’s also still averaging 13-15 minutes of ice time a game.
He’s an excellent value play, considering the Hawks will be up against a Kings team that has the leagues 2nd worst ranked penalty kill, and have been giving up over 4 goals a game.
Defense
Erik Gustafsson – CHI @ (LA) — $4K DraftKings /$7.5K FantasyDraft
Gustafsson has started off slowly compared to his breakout campaign — I’m still a believer that he’ll get going.
This selection is almost entirely based on how bad the Kings penalty kill has been this season. As previously mentioned, they own one of the leagues worst PK percentages.
Even though Gustafsson is off to a slower start, he’s still logging almost 20 minutes of ice time and is on the top PP unit in Chicago. I like the value he can bring at this price point.
Also Consider – Quinn Hughes (VAN @ SJ): Hughes has put up 7 points in his last 5 games — he’s taken over from Alex Edler on the #1 PP unit in Vancouver and playing 20+ minutes a night. Get him into a lineup or 2 before his price starts to soar.

Goalies
Tuuka Rask (Probable) – BOS vs (OTT) — $8.4K DraftKings /$17.3K FantasyDraft
This might be the free square on the board tonight — Rask has been exceptional so far this year and is looking like he’s back in Vezina candidate form.
He has 6 wins on the year to go along with a league leading .951 SV% and 1.41 GAA. To top that, he’s been even better at home with a .957 SV% and a 1.18 GAA.
Rask is slotted to start this game against the Senators, who will be looking for just their 4th win of the season. Even if the Bruins decide to start backup Jaroslav Halak, he’d be almost just as good a play.
