Centers
Connor McDavid – EDM @ (MIN) — $8.2K DraftKings /$16.6K FantasyDraft
After putting up 5 points against Philadelphia, McDavid has accomplished something he rarely does. He’s gone pointless in the 2 games he’s played since.
He’s still managed 8 shots on goal, with over 23 minutes in each game.
Keeping McDavid off of the score sheet is not a trend likely to continue for long; especially against a Minnesota team tied for dead last in goals against.
He’s due to breakout of this mini slump he finds himself in.
Alexander Kerfoot – TOR @ (BOS) — $4.1K DraftKings /$8.6K FantasyDraft
With the injury to John Tavares, Kerfoot has himself in a enviable position playing alongside Mitch Marner on the Leafs second line.
He’s also seeing some time on Toronto’s 2nd power play unit. His ice time jumped up to almost 17 minutes in his last game, in which he posted his 3rd goal of the season.
While Toronto may consider pairing Marner and Auston Matthew together for some shifts, Kerfoot should still see a lot of playing time with the talented play making winger.
He’s a great value option with a ton of upside going up against the Bruins.
Also Consider – Bryan Little: Back from injury and playing on the Jets second line with Nikolaj Ehlers and Kyle Connor.

Wingers
Nikolaj Ehlers – WPG vs. (LAK) — $5.9K DraftKings /$12.2K FantasyDraft
Ehlers has had a strong start to the season. With 8 points in 10 games he sits 3rd on the Jets in points, behind Patrik Laine and Mark Scheiflele.
With the return of veteran Bryan Little at center, Ehlers helps the Jets form a very dangerous second line with Kyle Connor on the opposite wing. Ehlers has seen a ridiculous amount of offensive zone starts with over 70%.
He sits second on the Jets with 35 shots on goal, and facing a Kings team that has allowed an average of 4 goals against to start the season.
David Pastrnak – BOS vs (TOR) — $8K DraftKings /$16.4K FantasyDraft
He’s not cheap, but if you’re paying up for a winger tonight, it’s tough to not start Pastrnak against the Leafs.
9 points in 4 regular season games last year against Toronto. He’s already put up a goal and an assist in the first meeting between the 2 teams this season.
The Leafs will most likely start backup net minder, Micheal Hutchinson, tonight, as they are on the second game of a back to back with Frederik Andersen starting the night before.
Defense
Josh Morrissey – WPG vs (LAK) — $4.9K DraftKings /$13.6K FantasyDraft
Morrissey continues to see time on Winnipeg’s top power play unit with the continued absence of Dustin Byfuglien.
He’s contributed with 6 assists so far, to go along with 18 shots on goal for the Jets. He leads all Jets defensemen with over 24 minutes a night of ice time.
Facing a Kings team that continues to struggle with poor goal tending and penalty killing, Morrissey is in a good spot if the Jets power play can click tonight.
Also Consider – John Carlson: He has to slow down eventually, but consider riding him until he does. 18 points in 10 games for a defensmen that is leading the league in points is just insane.
Goalies
Pekka Rinne(Probable) — NSH vs. (ANA) — $8.4K DraftKings /$16.7K FantasyDraft
With so many options on the slate tonight, it’s tough to nail down a goalie without second guessing yourself. I like Rinne at home against the Ducks.
Even though the Preds as a team have had a few issues with defense this year; Rinne himself has been reliable as usual to start the year.
A .913 SV% and 2.56 GAA, Rinne has gone unbeaten in regulation on the season with a 4-0-1 record.
The Ducks sit bottom 10 in the NHL with goals scored and shots on goal. In 3 meetings against Rinne and the Preds, Anaheim was only able to score 6 goals.
