Centers
Pierre-Luc Dubois – CBJ @ (TOR) — $4.7K DraftKings /$9.1K FantasyDraft
Dubois has been tasked with contributing even more offensively this season, as the Blue Jackets struggle to find a way to replace the offensive output lost by the departure of Artemi Panarin in the off season.
While not off to a blazing start, he’s put up a respectable 4 points in 8 games, averaging almost 18 minutes of ice time a game. He’s also put up 3 goals in 7 games up against Toronto over the last 3 seasons.
Up against a Leafs team, who will most likely start backup goalie Micheal Hutchinson on the first game of a back to back.
He’s priced in at a value that’s too hard to ignore.
Sean Couturier – PHI vs. (VGK) — $5.8K DraftKings /$12.2K FantasyDraft
Couturier has been one of the few Flyers providing some offense on a team starved for goals, with an average of just 2.5 goals a game.
Centering the Flyers top line with Claude Giroux and team leader in points, Travis Konecny, Couturier has been outstanding with a Corsi rating of 68% and he’s seeing almost 57% of his zone starts in the offensive end.
His 4 points so far are not reflective on how dominating he’s been when on the ice. He’s due for a big game soon.

Wingers
Mitch Marner – TOR vs. (CBJ) — $7.3K DraftKings /$15K FantasyDraft
I can’t really say why, but Marner loves playing the Blue Jackets. In 10 career games, he’s put up 5 goals, 6 assists, he’s a +6 and has fired off 31 shots on goal. He put up 5 points in 3 games last season alone.
With Tavares out, he’s going to have to step up even more. If you’re looking for a cheap line stack tonight, Marner paired with Alexander Kerfoot and Iyla Mikheyev could be your solution.
David Perron – STL vs. (COL) — $4.8K DraftKings /$9.6K FantasyDraft
Perron and the reigning Stanley Cup Champions face off against the Avalanche in game 3 of their current 4 game home stand. The Blues have dropped their last 4 games overall, including their last 2 at home.
Perron has 6 points in 8 games this season; he’s been getting plenty of offensive zone starts with line mates Ryan O’Rilley and Sammy Blais.
He’s priced down a bit from his last few games, and I’d consider taking advantage of that.
Defense
Miro Heiskanen – DAL vs. (OTT) — $5.4K DraftKings /$10.6K FantasyDraft
I absolutely love Heiskanaen in this spot tonight. The Stars return home to face off a struggling Senators team that can’t seem to score or keep pucks out of their own net.
Heiskanen has played over 25 minutes in his last two games, putting up a goal, assist, 5 shots with 57% offensive zone starts.
He’s way too cheap to pass up tonight, as the Stars look to start building some momentum after a poor start to the season.
Also Consider – Ivan Provorov, who moved to the Flyers top power play unit, 4 points in 6 games this season.
Goalies
Ben Bishop (Probable) — DAL vs. (OTT) — $8.2K DraftKings /$16.3K FantasyDraft
Editors Note: Anton Khudobin will get the start in place of Bishop (his house was hit by a Tornado; he and his family are fine).
As I already mentioned, the Stars return home to Dallas to face a struggling Ottawa team. The Senators are near the bottom of the league in goals scored with an average of 2.29 a game.
It’s not for a lack of trying, as they are averaging 30+ shots a night, so Bishop should be able to rack up plenty of saves.
While Bishop has not been his Vezina candidate self to start the year, he’s too good a play to pass up tonight.
I expect both him and his Dallas team to take advantage of the rebuilding Sens tonight.
