Centers
Sidney Crosby – PIT vs. (COL) — $7.2K DraftKings /$14.8K FantasyDraft
The Penguins return back home after a short and successful road trip that saw them explode for 14 goals in their last two games against the Wild and Jets. All this without Malkin.
Crosby seems to be picking up his game with 4 points in the last 2 games and 10 points overall to start the season.
We all know Crosby will get his, but there is something about him matching up against Nathan MacKinnon and the Avalanche; he put up 3 G’s in 2 games last season. Should be a fast up tempo game with both teams trading chances.
Nazem Kadri – COL @ (PIT) — $4.8K DraftKings /$9.7K FantasyDraft
Kadri has netted 2 goals in his last 2 games, and 4 points overall to start the season. He seems to be finding his game with his new team after being acquired in the off season for Tyson Barrie.
Centering the #1 PP unit in Colorado, I absolutely love Kadri in this spot. Up against a Pittsburgh team that is keeping up with their trend from last season of taking way too many penalties a game. Kadri is averaging over 4+ PP minutes on the top unit with Colorado and he should be able to take advantage of that tonight.

Wingers
Jamie Benn – DAL @ (CBJ) — $5.7K DraftKings /$11.8K FantasyDraft
A theme you’ll notice as you continue reading today is that I’m all over the Stars. The law of averages says something has to give with this team offensively.
Benn has been moved to the second line with the super talented Roope Hintz and veteran Alex Radulaov, a combination with plenty of speed, size and skill. At this price and what his given upside is, he’s almost impossible to pass up tonight against Korpisalo, his .892 SV% and the Jackets.
Andreas Johnsson – TOR @ (WAS) — $4.9K DraftKings /$10.4K FantasyDraft
Johnsson has been quiet to start the year, even though his line mates haven’t been. Playing on the top line with Auston Matthews and William Nylander, you’d expect a bit more out of Johnsson.
His shooting percentage has room to improve, sitting at just under over 8%. Coach Mike Babcock seems willing to stick with him on both the top line and top powerplay unit…for now.
Considering his recent price drop, playing time and line mates, Johnsson is a solid play tonight.
Defense
Miro Heiskanen- DAL @ (CBJ) — $4.7K DraftKings /$9.2K FantasyDraft
The second of the 3 stars I’m highlighting tonight, is Heiskanen. Like many of his Stars teammates, he’s still struggling to find his game. Bright side, he’s logging a ton of minutes at just under 25 minutes a game, so he’s going to be involved a lot.
4 points, 13 Shots on net in 7 games is nothing to play down, but I feel he and his entire Dallas team is set to break out offensively soon.
Cale Makar – COL @ (PIT) — $4.6K DraftKings /$9.4K FantasyDraft
The young Avalanche defenseman has been dynamite to start the season. Makar is logging almost 20 minutes a game, close to 5 full minutes on the #1 PP unit and he’s already put up 6 points in 5 games.
Colorado remains the only undefeated team in the NHL, having a PP that’s clicking at over 27% and scoring at a pace of 4.5 goals for a game. Pittsburgh on the other hand is averaging more than 10 minutes playing shorthanded to start the year. Makar should get a few good looks on the PP during this game.
Goalies
Ben Bishop (Probable) — DAL vs. (CBJ) — $7.9K DraftKings /$16.1K FantasyDraft
After being picked by many to compete for the top spot in the Central Division, the Stars have gotten off to a tough start to the season with just one win in seven games.
With all the new additions in the off season they are trying to find there game at both ends of the ice. While Bishop has struggled to find his game with a sub .900% in five starts, it’s only a matter of time before he starts to get into his groove.
This Dallas team has been great in not giving up a lot of shots against, sitting #3 in the league going into the game tonight. Pair that with a Blue Jackets team that is sitting just above an average of just 2 goals a game, Bishop should be a good play at this discounted price while he finds his game.
