Centers
Nathan MacKinnon – COL vs. (ARI) — $8K DraftKings /$16.5K FantasyDraft
MacKinnon is picking up right where he left off last season. Playing in the middle of one of the NHL’s most dangerous lines with Rantanan and Landeskog has him lined up to put up another monster season.
If you’re paying up for center position tonight, bet on MacKinnon. He’s off to a great start with 5 points in 3 games.
Averaging just over 21 minutes a game to start the season, he’ll have lots of time to pick apart an Arizona team that he put up 2G/2A in 3 games last season.
Cody Glass – VGK vs. (CAL) — $4K DraftKings /$7.5K FantasyDraft
How in the world is Cody Glass still so cheap? He’s already put up 3 points in 4 games to start the season, getting time on VGK 2nd PP unit, and taking full advantage of playing with Mark Stone and a rejuvenated Max Pacioretty.
Going up against a Flames team that’s been a mixed bag in their defensive zone to start the year, he could be in for a solid night.

Wingers
David Pasternak – BOS vs. (NJ) — $7.2K DraftKings /$15.4K FantasyDraft
Pasternak is one of the pricier wing options on the slate tonight, but comes with plenty of upside. Going up against a NJD team that is leaking goals with an average of 4.5GA to start the season and a league worst PK.
This is a perfect spot for Pasternak and his Bruins line mates to rack up some points.
Andrei Svechnikov– CAR vs. (CBJ) — $5.6K DraftKings /$11.9K FantasyDraft
What a start this Hurricane team has been off to. They’ve been lights out to start the season with Svechnikov leading the way with 6 points going to Friday night’s contest against the Islanders.
He’s currently 2nd on the team with SOG and averaging over 3 minutes of PP time. Carolina is top 10 with GF to start the season going up against a Blue Jackets sitting near the bottom with a GAA at over 4.5.
Defense
Erik Gustafsson – CHI vs. (WPG) — $5K DraftKings /$10K FantasyDraft
It’s been a hot start to the season for Gustafsson, with 3 assists in 2 games. He’s clearly enjoying quarterbacking the top unit PP in Chicago alongside Patrick Kane and Alex DeBrincat. He’s already playing a staggering 25+ minutes a game on the top D pairing with Duncan Keith.
He’s an incredible value play against a Winnipeg team that keeps struggling on the PK without Dustin Byfuglien.
Quinn Hughes – VAN vs. (PHI) — $4.2K DraftKings /$8.5K FantasyDraft
Hughes is playing like he should have been a #1 pick like his brother Jack.
Coming into tonight’s game, he’s put up 3 points, 6 SOG, all while playing 20+ minutes a night to start the season. He’s also getting time on the 2nd PP unit in Vancouver — how long until he replaces Alex Edler on the #1 PP unit? All this after posting 6 points in 8 games to start his NHL career last season in Vancouver.
Goalies
Jordan Binnington (Probable) – STL @ (MTL) — $7.7K DraftKings /$15.7K FantasyDraft
Binnington hasn’t lost a game in regulation to start the season. He’s sitting with a GAA of 2.30 and a sparkling SV% of .928 playing behind one of the best defensive units in the NHL.
Binnington may be the safest bet on the schedule with the defending Stanley Cup champs going up against a Montreal team struggling to find some offensive consistency.
