NASCAR Betting – Sharpie 500

Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson lead the series in victories with four wins apiece, but it’s Tony Stewart leading the series in momentum which has potential to build bankrolls for the NASCAR betting family, as the action heats up at Bristol in Saturday night’s Sharpie 500.
The event is the second of two Nextel Cup races there this season. Kyle Busch won the spring race in March. Don’t expect a repeat. The wise money should go on Stewart.
Stewart continued his recent surge last week by finishing 10th at Michigan on the heels of winning at Watkins Glen, which was his third win over the past five races. He captured back-to-back victories at Chicagoland and at the Brickyard while placing sixth at Pocono 500 during that stretch.
His recent dominance has put him in fourth in the standings, 398 points behind leader Gordon. Stewart has turned his season around with eight finishes of sixth or better over the last 11 races. However, he struggled here in March, finishing 35th.
NASCAR odds will display him among the favorites for Saturday’s race and rightfully so. Stewart has collected four top-5 finishes, five top-10’s and one victory at the .533 miles oval.
Over his career, Stewart has been stout on short tracks, where he’s posted 15 top-5 finishes, 26 top-10’s and six wins. Expect another strong outing this weekend as Stewarts finds Victory Lane.
