Sunday’s game is the perfect definition of home-field advantage as was proven against the Seahawks on Saturday. To make matters worse for Giants investors, the Packers have covered the spread in its last five homies. But the road team is 4-0 ATS in the last four games in this series.
We all know Favre can handle blustery conditions, but how will Eli Manning and the Giants handle the frigid conditions? Late in the season, Manning really struggled in nasty weather. However, Giants are 5-1 ATS in their last six games in January and have covered the spread in their last six games away from home.
New York doesn’t have a turnover in two playoff games and if they’re going to pull off another upset they’ll need to again take care of the rock. Even if the Giants play a perfect game, keep in mind they are 1-4 ATS in their last five meetings.
