College Football Online Betting – Hawaii vs. UNLV
Saturday, September 15th — Sam Boyd Stadium, Las Vegas — 9:30pm EST
Opening College Football Line: Hawaii -17 (61.5)
Our top sportsbook – The high-octane Hawaii passing game will travel westward to take on the UNLV Running’ Rebels this Saturday with hopes of inching up the AP Rankings. The No. 24 team in the country is powered by Colt Brennan’s 964 passing yards and 10 touchdowns. UNLV played extremely well against the highly ranked Wisconsin Badgers last week, and Hawaii’s defense has to start showing signs of life for the Warriors to be successful.
The road is unfriendly to Hawaii as they have only won sixteen of their last thirty-six road games. The five hour road trip aside, the defense must prepare for Travis Dixon, who leads the team with 399 passing yards and 129 rushing yards. Dixon will get a boat load of reps as Hawaii airs the ball out in hopes of torching the scoreboard.
UNLV were four-touchdown underdogs last week against Wisconsin and lost by a single score. Nobody should expect UNLV to rouse in the upset, but their defense showed poise last week, and that is reason to be on them to cover the spread this weekend and hold Brennan’s numbers down, even if only slightly, this weekend.
