Event: UFC 235: Jones vs. Smith
Date: November 3rd 2018
Time: 10 PM ET
Location: T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas
Broadcast: PPV, ESPN, ESPN +
Main Card (10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT on Pay-Per-View)
Jon Jones (c) -950 vs. Anthony Smith +625
Jones Jones comes into this fight with 23-1 record and will go against Anthony “Lionhart” Smith who is 31-13 in his career.
These two have similar bodies but Jones has a huge reach advantage, having a longer reach by eight inches and that could be key in this one.
For Smith there is a lot of question how good he is, or if this is a result of a poor weight class but he has had a couple of impressive finishes.

On the other side of this fight is Daniel Cormier who is one of the best fighters ever in the UFC and is currently holding two belts.
Smith is a guy who has struggled against Hector Lombard in 2017 and if he struggled in that fight, this fight is going to get ugly early.
I expect Jones is going to come out early and not let Smit get settled in. Not only do I think Jones finishes him, I think he finishes him quickly.
There isn’t a ton of value in Jones on the Moneyline but I think Jones by knockout in the first round is the play in this one.
MMA Betting Pick: Jones KO Round 1
Tyron Woodley (c) -160 vs. Kamaru Usman +140
The first championship fight to take place is Tyron Woodley and Kamaru Usman for the Welterweight title and it should be the more competitive of the championship fights.
Woodley has been impressive coming into this fight, but this is the first fight he is facing a guy who isn’t afraid to get dirty and is going to make this fight a real grind.
For Usman he has won nine straight fights and if he wins this fight there isn’t any reason he can’t hold onto this title for a long time.
I think this fight will go to a decision and after five round of grinding Usman will come out on top by way of split decision.
I think he will control more of the fight and that will look good in the judge’s eyes.
MMA Betting Pick: Usman +140
Ben Askren -275 vs. Robbie Lawler +225
This is another fight that is between two people who fight completely different styles, and whichever fighter does better at his style will win the fight.
Lawler is more known as a brawler but he can land a punch that can drop almost anyone and that is going to be what he needs to bring to the table in this fight.
For Askren, he is a wrestler and he uses that to wear out others which usually makes his stand up game better late in the game.
There is a good chance Askren wins this fight, but I think the value is with Lawler. I probably wouldn’t bet this fight, but if you really want too, I would put the money on Lawler.
MMA Betting Pick: Lawler +225
