UFC Fight Night 118: Cerrone vs. Till Preview and Picks
Ready for UFC Fight Night 118: Cerrone vs. Till picks and betting odds & predictions? We have reached UFC Fight Night 118: Cerrone vs. Till. The UFC is returning to Poland for just the second time in it’s history. Orginally this card was supposed to feature Michał Materla who is from Poland but he decided to resign with a Polish fighting federation. That will take away a little of the hype surrounding this event in Poland, but I would still expect a sold out crowd.
Event: UFC Fight Night 118: Cerrone vs. Till
Date: October 21st, 2017
Time: TBD
Location: Ergo Arena, Gdańsk, Poland
Broadcast: UFC Fight Pass
Main Card 3PM ET
This fight has two big fights on it. The main event will feature Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, one of the UFC’s most popular fighter will take on a younger Darren Till who is trying to prove that he belongs in the UFC.
The co-main event will feature Poland’s own Karolina Kowalkiewicz will take on Jodie Esquibel who is new to the UFC.
Donald Cerrone (-160) vs. Darren Till (+130)
Donald Cerrone comes into this fight as the favorite, but he comes into this fight struggling a bit. He has lost his last two fights including a unanimous decision to Robbie Lawler at UFC 214.
If he loses this fight, that would mark three in a row and people would really start to question if he had it anymore.
For Cerrone his strength is legs kick at a distance. He has knocked many people out with his vicious legs kicks so Till has to be careful to not get hit with one of those.
He also has the ability to win by submission, and if this fight goes to the mat, look for him to try and submit Till.

His opponent Darren Till hasn’t lost yet coming into this match with 15 wins and one draw. His last two fights have gone to the judges scorecards, and he won both of them by unanimous decision
For Till he has a patient fighter who likes to attack when his opponents make a mistake. I don’t think Cerronie will make that mistake though.
I think Cowboy will knock out Till in three rounds or less.
MMA Betting Pick: Cerrone -160
Karolina Kowalkiewicz (-450) vs. Jodie Esquibel (+325)
Karolina Kowalwiewicz is going to be the crowd favorite all night, and she should be able to use that to help her in this fight.
Karolina is a very aggressive fighter who likes to really move around in the ring and use a lot of combinations to wear down her opponent.
Look for her hands to be flying early, and for her to try and finish this fight early.
Esquibel is a transformed boxer and still likes to use her boxing tendencies. For her to have any chance in this fight she needs to be able to stay off the floor.
I think Karolina will be able to take her down early and that will put Esquibel in trouble. Karolina will win this fight with ease.
MMA Betting Pick: Kowalkiewicz -450
Jan Blachowicz (+125) vs. Devin Clark (-155)
This match up is between two guys who have had disappointing starts to their UFC careers, after being highly touted coming in.
The biggest issue for Blachowicz is his struggles at stopping the take down, and I think that will be the case again in this one.
Clark will take him down and control the fight from the ground. This fight will go to the judges scorecards, but Clark will come out ahead.
MMA Betting Pick: Devin Clark -155
Oskar Piechota (-205) vs. Jonathan Wilson (+165)
Oskar Piechota is an unbeaten kid from Poland who should have the full support of the crowd behind him from early on in this fight.
Except for his own draw he has knocked out or submitted all of his opponents by the end of the second round, and that will be the case again in this one.
[dfads params=’groups=223&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
I think this one will be finished in the first round with Piechota will come ahead.
MMA Betting Pick: Piechota -205
Marcin Held (-400) vs. Nasrat Haqparast (+300)
Marcin Held is another one of Poland’s own who has always been highly talked about, but since coming to the UFC has really struggled.
He has lost four of his last five matches, and in his last fight he was knocked out. Held’s strength is submission, but he doesn’t have a great take down technique.
The other issue is he wears himself out too early in the fight and by the time the third round rolls around he is usually gassed.
Nasrat Haqparast will be making his UFC debut on short notice and I think that short notice will really hurt him. Held will get his second win the UFC in this one.
MMA Betting Pick: Held -400
