South Korea was a surprise in the last 16 and they look to pull off a big shocker facing five-time World Cup champion Brazil.

South Korea Recent Form: LWW
Brazil Recent Form: WLD
Brazil
Brazil won Group G despite beating beaten in their last match in a 1-0 loss to Cameroon. The team’s attack has not been what we are used to seeing for a Brazilian side, as they have only scored three goals in three matches.
However, their defense has been solid and the goal they gave up in the loss to Cameroon was their first in the tournament.
Brazil has started slowly in all three matches in Qatar and dating back to Russia in 2018 the giant has failed to score a goal in the first half of their last five World Cup matches.
It has been 32 years since Brazil lost in the round of 16.
The big news for Brazil is that star FW Neymar is match fit and looks to get the start against South Korea. However, the team lost Gabriel Jesus and Alex Telles for the rest of the tournament due to injuries.
The partnership with Neymar and Neymar and Lucas Paqueta has been great in the past but manager Tite may tinker with the lineup with the riches of solid attacking players he has in his arsenal.
The defense has some players nicked up but that unit and the midfield have been solid on both sides of the pitch in Qatar.
Brazil had many scoring chances wasted in their loss to Cameroon and they look to repeat their scoring form like they did in a 5-1 win over South Korea in a friendly back in June.
South Korea
South Korea head coach Paulo Bento played his normal attack and did not pack the defense in the 5-1 loss to Brazil in June and look him to change tactics this time around in the round of 16.
After getting handed a clean sheet in their opener and losing to Ghana 3-2 in their second match South Korea beat Portugal in the last match 2-1. In that match they played the counter and only had possession of the ball 32% of the time.
Look for them to play the same way against Brazil, as they cannot stack up against the giant playing a wide-open match. Tottenham winger has not scored in the World Cup but the featured FW will get the start in this match.
He and ChoGue-Sung, who has two goals in Qatar, will have to apply some pressure on the Brazil defense and run the wings, as the team is unlikely to score when Brazil has a full defensive line.
FW Hwang Hee-Chan scored the game winner in the last match as a substitute and while dealing with a hamstring injury may be in the starting 11 against Brazil.
Free South Korea vs. Brazil Prediction: Brazil -105
Brazil has not been great on the attack in their three World Cup matches but that is about to change. They will pressure the South Korean defense that has given up four goals in their last two matches.
Look for Brazil to take charge early and they will play great D, dominate time of possession, and take advantage of scoring chances, which
they did not do I their last match.
South Korea is outmatched and the dynamic Brazil team will show through in this match in a 3-0 win.
