Spain will surely be upset about the outcome of their match against Poland, as they had numerous chances to secure the win and they didn’t.
They took an early lead with Morata, but Lewandowski pulled even for Poland at the start of the second half.
Spain were awarded a penalty kick just 4 minutes later, but Gerard Moreno missed. Spain had the upper hand in the second half, in terms of possession and chances created, but they were unable to find the winning goal.
Currently sitting at the 3rd spot with 2 points, Spain are in actual danger of being eliminated. A loss here would ensure that they are, while a Draw would see them through as one of the best 3rd-placed teams. But how can Spain dream of winning the EUROs if they can’t win a single match in one of the easiest groups?
Slovakia vs. Spain Prediction:
This is a pretty open group in terms of who will actually qualify. Sweden are clashing against Poland in the other match of the group, with Sweden having already qualified and Poland looking only for a win that would see them through.
In case Poland win and Spain lose, Spain will finish at the bottom of the group. This will be a double dose of humiliation, and I don’t think that Spain will suffer that in front of their crowd.
