Depending on what you think about Bayern this year, Manchester City probably have the best overall team on paper in all of Europe, but they have yet to be able to put all the pieces together in this competition over the years. City were not amazing in the Premiership this year, but were only beaten by the margin they were due to an incredible run of 1 goal victories from Liverpool.
Manchester City is a front forward first team and that does leave them open at the back especially when Kyle Walker is flying up the wing. They do, however, keep it clean at the back most of the time and I expect Pep Guardiola to get his tactics spot on here against a team he knows very well.
Kevin de Bruyne is the guy to look out for going forward for City, as he does absolutely everything for this team going forward and takes all of the set pieces. He is also dangerous in front of goal so do not be surprised if he gets his name on the scoresheet before the final whistle.
