We can’t read much into the two games Liverpool has played against Shrewsbury as Klopp has used this tie as a chance to rest some of the top players legs. Outside of that tie this Liverpool side has been close to perfect, as they blow teams out with great regularity and also know when to lock things down defensively to pick up tight one goal wins.
Fortunately enough for The Reds they do not really need to worry much here, as they get a very good matchup against Norwich City who they should deal with pretty easily. It is important for this team to remember, however, that this Norwich team did beat Manchester City earlier in the year and if they take The Canaries too lightly they could face a similar fate.

Now that the squad is rested up a bit I expect Liverpool to deploy at full strength here in an offensively minded 4-3-3 with Sadio Mane and Mo Salah leading the line up front. Firminio down the middle has also been awesome this year and he will likely have a lot of room to operate here and should have some success distributing to the wingers.
Norwich
Norwich should be feeling decent about themselves because of there decent performances as of late and it goes to show that this team does have some heart given the fact it would take a miracle to see them back in the EPL next season.
The Canaries last performance was especially good, as they went toe-to-toe with a good Newcastle side who tends to up their performances in front of the home fans. They were the better side for large spells of that game and if they come with a repeat of that performance they should be able give Liverpool a few troubles.
I would expect an inspired effort here, but at the end of the day this is not a make or break game for this team as nobody expects anything other than a whitewash here. Look for Temmu Pukki to do his best up front, but once again, if he does not find the back of the net here nobody will blame him.

It is obviously a decent amount of juice here at -188 on the over 2.5 goals, but that comes with good reason. It would not surprise me if Liverpool put up 5 here, so if you are uncomfortable with that kind of juice check with your bookmaker to see if they offer the alternate total line, as you should have no problem getting a solid + money price on the over 3.5 goal market.
