Liverpool’s incredible undefeated season continues here with a game at home against Brighton to kick off the 10 am games this Saturday.

The bookies are expecting this to be a straightforward game for The Reds, but given how they have struggled against some of the lower end teams this year, will it be so easy?

Brighton are by no means safe this year from relegation, but their 4-3-6 record is good for 12th place right now, which certainly is better than a lot of Brighton fans thought before the season started.

They certainly have not had it easy the last two weeks with consecutive losses to Leicester City and Manchester United. The schedule really has done them no favors here as a match on the road against Liverpool is not likely to be the spot to break the losing streak.

Brighton does not really have an out and out superstar, but they do have a very solid and well rounded team who should be able to compete here.

Guys like Aaron Mooy are players to look out for here on Brighton as although he does not have a goal or an assist on the season, he is a grinder who does a ton of the dirty work for this team and who will once again be vital to staving off this high powered Liverpool attack.

Liverpool

It has not always been pretty this season, but the title seems like it seems destined as they have had so many late comebacks and overtime winners that I have already lost count. That is the only knock on Liverpool, is that they are not nearly as impressive in their wins as Manchester City usually are.

Liverpool’s biggest positive in this match is that they are at home in front of their home fans at Anfield who provide a massive boost for this team on a week in week out basis.

Jurgen Klopp fielded a full strength Liverpool side midweek against Napoli in the UEFA Champions League, but they were only able to manage a draw as Dejan Lovren equalized in the 65th minute.

Liverpool was pretty secure in the group, so it makes sense Liverpool were not pushing for the win, as they have handled this group about the same as they did last year, and this team obviously turned out fine.

Free Brighton vs Liverpool EPL Prediction:

This Liverpool defense has not been quite as good as last year, and they have conceded at regular intervals this year. I do not expect Brighton to win this game, or even get a draw, but I can see them getting on the scoreboard here and so the over looks like a solid way to go.

This game likely ends up a bit more fast paced and open than most people think, so there should be chances at both ends.
