Tottenham has been on a wild ride so far since hiring Jose Mourinho and that is a ride that is unlikely to stop this coming Saturday as Tottenham do battle with Bournemouth in London at their brand new stadium in North London.

Bournemouth had one of their most famous wins in club history three matchdays ago as they beat Manchester United 1-0. That was an incredible day for a team that has a stadium that only holds a little over 10 000, but it has not been all smiles since then as this team has no dropped all three points in back to back contests.

Their last game against Wolverhampton was especially bad as they conceded 2 goals in the span of 10 minutes and then shortly after got a red card. The game was essentially over from that point, but The Cherries did remain resilient and did fight back towards the end to only lose 2-1.

Bournemouth will be hoping for better here as they just be feeling that they are getting Tottenham at just the right time as Spurs fans must feel like they are riding a roller coaster at this point. Bournemouth did try a 3-4-3 formation in their last match and I would not be surprised if they revert back to it as they know they will need to push bodies forward in what is likely to be a high scoring affair.

Tottenham

It is pretty incredible that Jose Mourinho is know for his defensive tactics, but since taking over at Spurs his team has decided to just stop playing any defense. They have allowed 4 goals in their first two games with ”The Special One” at the helm and it was not against great competition in West Ham and Olympiacos.

Tottenham would be wise not to make that mistake again here as Bournemouth possess the offense to take advantage of any slack defending.

Tottenham may have need this though, as perhaps allowing a more open and free flowing game has been opening things up for their offensive players to fire home 7 goals in these first 2 games. That point remains to be seen, but Mourinho and Co. will once again be under a lot of pressure to get the job done here in front of the home faithful.

Free Bournemouth vs Tottenham EPL Prediction:

I do not see a good reason why this game should not be a shootout as it has all the makings of one on paper. Two sub-par defenses, two teams who will certainly be going for all 3 points and two great offenses with plenty of firepower on both sides.

The price of +130 for over 3.5 goals also seems very generous as I would have set this line around even money, so I firmly believe there is some solid value to be had on this one.
