Arsenal did start gaining a bit of momentum recently, but that was quickly halted in their last game against Wolverhampton where they lost 2-1 and not only did David Luiz get himself sent off, but goalkeeper Bernd Leno also saw red in the loss. You obviously won’t win many football games with 9 men, but Arsenal still put up a solid fight in the defeat and showed some heart to keep the margin of loss to only 1.
The big problem for Arsenal here is that they will be without those two players for this contest, but on the other hand I can see them show up for this game in a big way after the way that last game ended.
Arsenal still do have the elite players up front, though, who will need to play a big role if Arsenal are to pick up all three points so look out for the likes of Pepe, Aubameyang and Lacazette to do some damage in the final third.
Aston Villa
Despite being where they are in the league table it has been an up and down season for Villa, as you seemingly get one version of them one day and a completely different the next. They really have benefited from their lack of draws as well either picking up all 3 points or losing the game outright which has propelled them to 9th in the table with 32 points.
Aston Villa were completely outclassed in their previous match against West Ham, as they gave up 20 shots with 10 of them being on target in an eventual 3-1 loss and Villa are likely to face a similar test from Arsenal here, so they will need to step it back up.

Arsenal look to be real value here, as I think they simply have more class than West Ham and at the current price of +160 it just seems like too much to pass up, as I believe hey should be close to the +110 range.
