We should be in for a similar kind of matchup between the sharks and Kings, as their rosters appear to be quite close in terms of overall skill.
Logan Couture has been the main source of offense for the Sharks, although their production is a bit spread-out, with 5 goals and 3 assists. It also has to be said that Erik Karlsson has continued to struggle with only 3 assists on the season which is a far cry from the numbers he used to put up.
It also seems tough to identify exactly what has gone on with Karlsson, but Sharks fans hope he can find some of his old form to help this Sharks team get back into the mix in 2021.
Los Angeles Kings
The Kings are coming off getting swept by the Golden Knights in a 2 game series which made it 4 losses in a row for the rebuilding hockey club. It looks like Kings fans won’t have much to cheer about this year, as the Kings enter year 3 of a rebuild, but there is still some talent on this team and they will not be complete pushovers this year.
Anze Kopitar does clearly still have it, though, as the King’s veteran has had a solid start the year putting up 2 goals and 12 assists at this early juncture of the season.
