A battle in the Metropolitan division await this Tuesday, as the Flyers will head out on the road for a matchup with the Carolina Hurricanes.

These two teams met in November of last year where the Flyers picked up the win in a thriller that ended 5-3.
Philadelphia Flyers
The Flyers will be in a high pressure spot here, as they look to snap a 3 game losing streak on the road against a very solid Hurricanes side. The Flyers did not show up in their most recent matchup against the Arizona Coyotes where they were handily beaten 6-2.
Brian Elliot is projected to get the start in this spot, but he is unlikely to be the guy who wins this game for the Flyers , as he has had a very bad season with a save percentage under 900.
You would imagine, then, that this game is going to be one on the offensive side of the ice and the Flyers have plenty of guys who can put the puck in the back of the net. One of their main guys up front is Claude Giroux who is probably not having the season he would have liked, but is still a classy player who can make all the difference for this team on a night in night out basis.
Carolina Hurricanes
The Hurricanes have also not been all that hot as of late as they will look to prevent a 3 game losing streak this Tuesday night. There wouldn’t be as much cause for concern in Carolina, however, as they lost their last two games against two very good teams in the Tampa Bay Lightning and Washington Capitals.
Petr Mrazek should get the start in net for the Hurricanes in this one and he is another guy who has not really been a difference maker for his team, as he currently sports a .901 save percentage.
Teuvo Teravainen will be key on the offensive side of things for the Hurricanes as he has been a maestro in terms of play making, as he already has tallied 33 assists on the season.
