Two Atlantic division rivals will go up against each other this Tuesday in a battle of two teams who just can’t seem to get into the win column. These two teams are both riding losing streaks with Montreal’s being especially bad at 5 straight losses.

The Detroit Red Wings only have 10 wins this year and unfortunately for the Canadiens one of those wins came against them last time they played in the middle of December which ended with a score of 2-1.
Montreal Canadiens
This is about as good of a ”get right” spot as you could ask for if you were the Canadiens, and however this game looks on paper the Canadiens will need to show up to beat this Red Wings team, as they learned the last time they played.
The offensive production for this team is all over the place and is not concentrated at all, as they have 5 players with over 30 points on the season. If there is one guy to look out for it is probably Tomas Tatar who leads the team in goals and likely has plenty more in him this season, as it wouldn’t shock me if he ended up with 35 goals on the season.
Detroit Red Wings
The Red Wings are basically locked into being the worst team in the league this year, and although many Red Wings fans and pundits expected this to be a rebuild year, very few of them thought it would be this bad. One of the few bright spots for the team has been Tyler Bertuzzi who has been solid for most of the season and has racked up 15 goals and 16 assists in just 43 games.
You would imagine he would need to make a big impact on the score sheet this Tuesday if the Red Wings are going to get the win here, but he certainly has the ability to do so.
Jonathan Bernier most likely gets the start here and he has been decent given the team that is in front of him, even if the stats don’t really show the decent season he has had.
