The undefeated Seattle Seahawks will host the Minnesota Vikings at home for Sunday Night Football in Week 5 of the NFL season. The Seahawks handled the Dolphins last week 31-23 while the Vikings pulled out a one-score game against the Texans on the road 31-23.
Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings picked up their first win of the season against the Texans this past week. Rookie Justin Jefferson continues to be a monster for Mike Zimmer’s offense as he leads the team in receiving yards.
Jefferson had some pretty big shoes to fill with the departure of Stephen Diggs, but the rookie has stepped up to the challenge so far. He has compiled 348 yards and one touchdown so far on the year. He has been the best rookie wide receiver thus far and will have a shot to add to those numbers with a weak Seahawks secondary.

Kirk Cousins has struggled to start the season but did look better in the win against Houston. Cousins has completed 62 of 100 passes for 883 yards to go along with his six touchdowns and six interceptions. His six interceptions are second in the league only to Carson Wentz who has seven. Kirk needs to pick up his play in crunch time if he wants his team to have any chance at winning games this season.
Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks just continue to roll over teams week after week. Most recently they knocked off the Dolphins 31-23 thanks to a late touchdown from David Moore.
Russell Wilson is playing out of this world right now and has put up some crazy numbers in the first four games. Through four games Wilson has completed 103 of 137 passes for 1285 yards this season to go along with 16 touchdown passes and two interceptions. The Seahawks offense is averaging 12.5 yards per catch and it is all because Russ is cooking this season.
DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett have been the best receiving duo in the league. Altogether the two have paired for seven touchdowns and 701 yards through the air this season on 42 catches.
Defensively, Seattle is hoping to get back all-pro safety Jamal Adams after he missed Week 4 with a groin injury. Adams led the team in sacks and tackles for loss through three games. Surprising that a safety leads the team in sacks, but it just goes to show how valuable Adams can be for the defense.

4* Free NFL Betting Prediction: Vikings +7
I like the Vikings to cover the spread in this one as their offense has the potential to put up points with Seattle. These teams are very similar in the sense that they have a couple of great offensive weapons and defensive weapons, the only difference is the quarterback play. Russel Wilson is playing at an MVP level right now while Kirk Cousins can’t seem to find a rhythm. I do think the Vikings cover though because Dalvin Cook may have the opportunity to run all over this Seattle team. The Seahawks aren’t the strongest group up front this season and I think the Vikings are going to take advantage of that weakness.
