This one of the games this weekend that is part of the SEC vs. B12 Challenge. I am not sure whether I like it in the moddle of the regular season.
Given that the Aggies are looking to improve their position it is of benefit as a road win over a ranked team would stand out.
WVU has to be licking their chops in terms of applying their pressure on a team that has had PG issues this season.
Texas A&M Aggies
The Aggies have been playing better with a couple of decent wins over Georgia and Ole Miss this week.
This team could have some problems against WVU though as their strength is up front.
Tyler Davis is a big physical player who leads the team in scoring and rebounding. Hopefully the pace won’t get away from him in this one, they really need him.

DJ Hogg is 6’9″ but plays more on the wing. They are going to need him to be back in the lineup for this one – he missed their last game.
Admon Gilder is their top assist man and he is going to have to be on top of his game but the Aggies to stay in it. All three above are sophomores, for what it is worth.
The Aggies should be a live dog on Saturday but at the same time I see a scenario where they get blown out. It really could either way.
West Virginia Mountaineers
The Mountaineers took down Kansas earlier in the week. It was impressive as I thought Kansas would have been ready to withstand their pressure.
WVU is known for their D but it also is really sharp on offense. They are averaging just under 90ppg thanks to all the turnovers they create. They do not have one dominant scorer though, 4 players average between 10 and 12ppg and nobdy plays as much as 30 minutes per contest. It would be tough to at that pace.

Nathan Adrian is the Mountaineers best big and he might be out for this one. It won’t affect how they play but will matter in their half court defense…when that happens.
These teams have not met since 2009. West Virginia has lost only once at home this season. To Oklahoma, a team not as good as A&M in my opinion.
